Using image search

  • From the category drop-downs, one SUBJECT &/or one LOCATION &/or one TIME/SEASON setting can be selected.
  • Use TITLE/KEYWORDS only for typing in words not included in the category settings.
      
  • The search results will only display images that involve ALL words typed & ALL category settings used in your image search (except for 'common' words such as 'and', 'of', 'in' etc.).
  • The searches are not case-sensitive (no capital letters required).
  • TIME/SEASON year settings (2003, 2004 etc.) are only applicable to images depicting new developments, such as SAGE Gateshead and Alnwick Garden.

Using advanced search

  • Multiple selections from various categories can be included by making your selection from the pull-downs and clicking 'Add Selected' button for each.
     
  • Use Additional Keywords only for typing in words not included in the category settings.
  • 'Any format' pull-down can be set to limit search results to landscape format or to portrait format images only.
  • 'Display as thumbnails' can be set to 'Display as listings' for a quick display of image titles only, without their thumbnail images.
     
  • Selecting 'for all of the above' limits the search to only images that include ALL of the keywords typed & category settings selected.
  • Selecting 'for any of the above' searches for all images that include ANY of the keywords typed & category settings selected.

Using image gallery

  • Use Image Gallery for quick access to some of Graeme Peacock's most popular images.
  • ("Latest Images" searches for the most recent images that have been added to the site.
